Mojave Springs School is a Registered Initiative with AWSNA and an Associate Member of WECAN.  We are dedicated to the Waldorf curriculum and are the first school in the Las Vegas Valley to grow and build a consciousness of Waldorf education in this thriving urban area.  We are in the process of growing a knowledgeable faculty and staff for our early childhood and grades program.  There is much work to be done and we invite you to contact us if you are interested in the challenge and beauty of building with us in one of the most powerful natural regions of our country.

About Mojave Springs School

Mojave Springs School (MSS) was established in 2017 as a Waldorf-inspired early childhood program with one mixed-age preschool class out of the Springs Preserve. Today our school serves 50+ children in the early childhood (ages 2 to 6) and grades programs (1st to 4th grade). We value low student-teacher ratios and small class sizes. Our school is centrally located in beautiful Spring Valley in two newly renovated homes with a large, shady yard full of trees, garden beds overflowing with organic food, and open space to play.

Our Image of the Child: We see every child as a capable, thoughtful, loving individual with an inspiring curiosity for the world. We view children as teachers themselves who we aspire to learn from and grow alongside.

Our Image of the Teacher: We believe that it is more important who the teacher is than what she knows. We see the teacher as a loving and natural leader who guides each child to become their true and best self. Through reflective observation and loving caregiving, the teacher comes to know the child deeply, builds a strong relationship and understands how they best learn.
